TaeguTec has introduced a better performing insert in the CHASEMILL product line that is designed for low cutting resistance during machining.

The new APKT 1204 PER-HMM line featuring a higher rake angle than the current line of APKT 12 inserts, significantly reduces cutting loads which results in smoother cutting during machining, thus making the new insert a more productive option over the current line. As well, the insert’s sharp cutting edge generates better burr reduction on the workpiece with lower vibration and noise during machining. The APKT 1204 PER-HMM type insert is very effective in unstable processing conditions such as long overhang or unstable fixtures and is compatible with the current line of cutters.
